During the massage we don´t work areas that will cause risk for you and your baby! The massage can be done on massage table, the position is on the side or sitting if you prefer foot massage or Chair Massage that treats the upper body. In the first 3 months, massage is contraindicated.
In the last days before the childbirth, per medical recommendation, the massage can be performed to induce labor, working on specific points and areas that cause contractions. After pregnancy, always per recommendation of a doctor, massage is good to relieve tension caused by a lot of effort during childbirth, to help drain the liquids, tone the muscles and deal with eventual postnatal depression.
